How to read decimal, fractional and American odds
tb baji shows three types of odds formats. They all express the same probability in different ways — the number looks slightly different but the underlying calculation is the same.
Example 1 — betting on Team A to win (৳1,000 bet): Decimal 2.50, fractional 3/2, American +150 — all three are the same odds. If Team A wins, total return is ৳2,500 (৳1,500 profit + ৳1,000 original stake); if they lose, ৳1,000 is gone.
Example 2 — Team B is the favourite (৳1,000 bet): Decimal 1.25, fractional 1/4, American -400 (minus odds indicate how much you need to bet to make ৳100 profit). If Team B wins, return is ৳1,250 (৳250 profit).
